FOI 21733-25 Misconduct, sexual assault on a male or female

Request to Northamptonshire Police:

1. How many reported offences of sexual assault on a male (home office code - 017/15) have been recorded between January 1st, 2020, to September 30th, 2025, where the accused is a police officer?
2. How many reported offences of sexual assault on a female (home office code - 020/05) have been recorded between January 1st, 2020, to September 30th, 2025, where the accused is a police officer?
3. Please can you provide the outcome for each of these reported offences where the accused is a police officer?
4. Please can the above be provided in an excel spreadsheet where the data is broken down, year by year under each specific home office code?

Response:

For context, as at September 2025 Northamptonshire Police comprised of 1,446.22 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Police Officers, 77.3 FTE Police Community Support Officers (PCSO), 1090.57 Other Members of Police Staff, together with a further 90 Special Constables; a total of 2,634.09 FTE individuals.

4. The Code of Ethics is the framework that underpins the standards of professional behaviour as set out in the Conduct Where the misconduct procedure is being applied the actual behaviour that is alleged to have fallen below the standard expected will be recorded not a home office code.
