I am one of the Police officers covering the Eastfield, Headlands and Parklands areas of Northampton. I work closely with local residents, schools, and partner agencies to address the issues that matter most to our communities. I have 6 years of policing experience and a background in neighbourhood policing, response, Youth support work and intelligence. I am STINGER trained, a blue light standard response driver, and taser trained. I also speak conversational Spanish.

I have been a Police Community Support Officer for 19 years and I am the PCSO covering the Kingsthorpe, Headlands and Boothville areas. I am an accredited mediator, a qualified PCSO tutor, and a UNISON Steward and Branch Welfare Officer. I am also a Northamptonshire Talking Champion.

Burglary
Action taken:
• Over this period, there have been 24 reported burglaries and 8 reported attempted burglaries of a home. We continue to support with burglary investigations visiting the area of every domestic burglary, carrying out proactive patrols in areas to prevent further offences, supporting vulnerable victims, and working with other agencies to provide security advice.

Priority:
Road safety and road traffic offences
Action taken:
• Over this period, there have been 69 reported thefts from motor vehicles, 17 reported thefts of motor vehicles, and 15 reported vehicle interferences.
• Operation Stormecho continues across the area dedicated to tackling illegal e-scooters and e-bikes.
• We have also carried out a speed enforcement operation in the Headlands, Parklands and Eastfield ward, resulting in five speeding tickets being issued, and five warnings. -

Drug dealing and drug misuse
Action taken:
• Over this period, there have been eight offences recorded for trafficking-controlled drugs, and nine recorded drug possession offences. Ten of these resulted in a positive outcome including six charges, three community resolutions, and one adult caution.
• We have executed one warrant in relation to drug offences in the Kingsthorpe area, resulting in the discovery of a cannabis factory consisting of more than 150 plants which was dismantled, and one person was arrested.
• Officers have used stop and search powers on 18 occasions across this period. -

Our priorities are set for a six month period and reviewed every three months to ensure we continue to deal with what matters most to local people, taking account of feedback shared in our local priorities survey and local crime data.
