Your local policing team is made up of dedicated neighbourhood officers and community support officers based in your community, supported by additional police officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, partner agencies, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for your local area. By working together we aim to find solutions to long-standing local problems while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Northamptonshire.

You Said, We Did - August to December 2023 • Every reported residential Burglary, even just to an outbuilding, has received a reassurance visit from a member of the team and a Burglary Prevention Pack issued to the victim and immediate neighbours. There have been 68 reported residential burglaries including attempts between August & November – all of these have been visited and signed up to receive Neighbourhood Alerts • Crime Prevention Events on home security have been held at various locations across the district
Drug Dealing and Drug Misuse

You Said, We Did - August to December 2023 • The team have executed 6 warrants relating to drug offences in the local area. Investigations into these are ongoing. The majority of these have related to cannabis factories • 10 people have been dealt with for drug related offences during this time and have been offered a diversionary course to help deal with their addiction unrelated to the warrants. 2 more arrests have been made unrelated to the warrants for possession with intent to supply or possession offences, all of these investigations are ongoing • Officers have used Stop and Search powers on 24 occasions, resulting in 10 positive outcomes for drug offences • Over 70 intelligence logs have been submitted relating to drug offences alone • A drugs dog operation was conducted in the public houses in East Northants in October in conjunction with North Northants Council Licensing Department and the local Town Councils. 3 people were dealt with for personal possession offences as a result and all given out of court disposals • 1 closure order was granted at Court to protect in Oundle due to drug misuse and anti-social behaviour
Road Safety and Road Traffic Offences

You Said, We Did - August to December 2023 • 22 tickets/summons/S59 warnings have been issued • Speed enforcement locations have been completed across the area including of East Northants • Over 30 intelligence logs have been submitted relating to road safety & traffic offences • Traffic enforcement regarding poor parking has occurred at various Primary Schools • 15 vehicles have been seized for various offences including driving with no insurance, no MOT, no Tax • Various crimes have been investigated for offences such as dangerous driving/driving whilst over the prescribed limit or driving whilst disqualified • 3 arrests have been made for various driving offences • 1 VOI scooter account has either been suspended or permanently banned as a result of interactions from the Police
