The role of this team is to carry out effective engagement, review and project management of IT projects. Business engagement managers interact with the rest of the organisation to ensure our priorities remain aligned and business needs are understood.
These are non-technical roles and do not require specific technical accreditations. They consist of project management and business engagement professionals who ensure IT projects are appropriately prioritised and governed, risk is managed, and then projects are delivered.
The roles require people who can manage stakeholders and competing priorities. People who are good at developing relationships across different organisations.
