Northamptonshire Police is trialling the use of Live Facial Recognition (LFR) technology for the purposes of preventing and detecting crime and protecting the public. The force will be honest, open and transparent in the development, deployment and use of LFR as it recognises that it must retain the confidence of the public as it uses this new and important crime fighting tool. To this end, the following documents are available to read and download below.
If you have any questions relating to the use and deployment of LFR, other than requests under the Freedom of Information Act, please email the facial recognition team at [email protected]
