When a call comes in to Northamptonshire Police, it's more than just a report. It's someone reaching out for help. Our control room staff assess every detail in seconds, deciding the right response. Whether it's a burglary, a missing person, or a serious assault, the right people are dispatched straight away.
Our first priority is always safety, protecting the public, and preserving evidence. Officers on scene gather vital information, speak to witnesses, and make sure anyone affected gets the care and support they need.
Once the immediate situation is under control, the case moves into the hands of our detectives in CID. We piece together statements, CCTV, phone data, and forensic evidence to understand exactly what's happened and who's responsible.
Every investigation is about finding the truth. We work closely with forensics, digital experts, and the Crown Prosecution Service to build a strong, fair case that stands up in court.
Our communities deserve to feel safe and to know that when something happens, we'll be there, from the first call to the final result.
Northamptonshire Police, committed to protecting you, pursuing offenders, and delivering justice.
