Community Open Days

Northamptonshire Police and Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service, along with the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Danielle Stone, and partners, are inviting you to join us at our Community Open Day at Wicksteed Park on August 16!

Come along and meet your local emergency service personnel as they demonstrate what they do on a daily basis to keep the community safe.

Climb onboard our Joint Command Unit, get an up close look at the police operational kit, and see some of our police dogs in action - with a chance to meet PD Socks and PD Bonnie!

Whether you're interested in joining the emergency services or just want to find out more about what we do, there's something for everyone at our Community Open Day!

Tickets

The Open Day is a free event so you do not need to book tickets - just come along with your family and friends!

Parking and public transport

There is a car park onsite at Wicksteed Park which incurs a charge - please see their website for further details.

Please park mindfully and be considerate of local residents.

Wicksteed Park is also accessible by public transport. Bus route information can be found on their website.

Weather

In the event of inclement weather, where possible, stalls will be moved indoors to the Pavilion.

However, we ask that guests come prepared for all weather conditions.

Filming and photography

Filming and photography is taking place at this event and will be used by Northamptonshire Police, Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service and the Office of the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for publicity on external websites and across social media platforms. If you do not want your image used, please speak to one of the event organisers.
