Attended incidents
- 180,143 attended incidents, a decrease of 4.8% as many from 2020/21 were COVID related incidents
Calls for service
- 317,993 calls for service, an increase of 3.2% on the previous report
- Overall calls for service increased 5.3% nationally in the year 2021/22 compared with the previous year
- 101 non-emergency calls fell 2% nationally in the 2021/22 year compared with the previous year and 999 emergency calls increased 18.7% nationally in the 2021/22 year compared with the previous year
PPNs (Public Protection Notices)
- 23,504 child concern PPNs
- 13,070 adult concern PPNs
- Child concern PPNs are down 7.6%
- No change in adult concern PPNs
Missing people
- 3893 missing persons found, an increase of 11.5% on the previous year
Safeguarding
- A total of 36,574 people safeguarded, a decrease of 5% on the previous year
- This is where the police log concerns regarding the welfare of vulnerable adults and children with wider services in the county
