Detectives investigating the death of Darren King in Wellingborough on Sunday, May 3, have charged a man with his murder.
Donte King, 20, of Birchfield Road, Wellingborough, has been charged with murder and will appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, May 5.
Police were called to Birchfield Road, at around 3.05pm on Sunday, May 3, to reports that a man had been stabbed.
Sadly, and despite the best efforts of the emergency services Darren King, aged 38, from Wellingborough, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man arrested on suspicion of murder was released with no further action being taken against him.
