The Cadet recruitment window is now open for their September 2025 intake and young people across the county are being encouraged to do something amazing with their time and join up to the Northamptonshire Emergency Service Cadets (NESC).
In this film we hear more about the scheme from some of our Cadets and Cadet leaders.
Nick Paul, Citizens in Policing Sergeant said: ‘‘It's a privilege to be associated with such a great team of young people. The cadets play an integral part in supporting the our communities and helping with local neighbourhood priorities.’’
Those successful in joining the cadet scheme:
There are currently six cadet units running in Northamptonshire who meet once a week.
If you are aged between 13-18 (school years 9 - 13) and are interested in learning more about the scheme and how you can apply to be a cadet here northants.police.uk/cadets
You can also email the team at [email protected]
We encourage applications from diverse members of our communities.
If you would like to apply for this year's intake, or know someone who would be interested, please head to the website and complete the form before the closing date, Sunday, April 6, 2025.
