Man arrested in connection with Northampton incidents

Police officers in Northampton have arrested a man in connection with a number of incidents that have taken place in the Eastern District of the town.

During the incidents, which have taken place over the last week, a man has approached women and either exposed himself or made indecent comments/actions towards them.

Now, a 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incidents and remains in police custody at this time.

“Detective Chief Inspector Johnny Campbell said: “I hope this arrest reassures our local communities and demonstrates how seriously we take reports of this nature.

“Enquiries into these incidents continue to take place and I would again urge anyone with information to come forward by calling us on 101.”
