A 47-year-old man is due to attend a Northampton police station after his dog bit a woman and another dog.
Reports were received at the beginning of April this year regarding a dog that had been left in a van for long periods of time in Cony Walk, Grange Park.
On April 8, at 5.30pm, the dog bit another dog as well as a member of the public.
The dog has since been taken off its owner and the man in question, aged 47, is now due to attend a police station for an interview in relation to an offence under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
Neighbourhood Policing Officer – PC Kate Rideout, said: “We know this issue has caused a lot of concern in the local area so I hope this demonstrates that we are taking prompt and appropriate actions.”
