Community visits are a really important part of our work, and especially for officers in our Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs).
Recently PC Russell Barnes and PCSO Dan Freeman of the Northampton West NPT visited a Beavers group at Parklands Community Centre in Northampton to talk about what they do.
As a thank you, the group drew pictures and sent them a box of chocolates, which the team have gratefully received.
PC Barnes said: “The children loved meeting the police and learning about what we do, asking lots of questions and having a look at our police car.
“Dan and I really enjoyed the visit too and were touched to receive the thank you parcel from the group. Visits like this really help us connect with people and showcase the work of NPTs and I’d like to thank this group of young people for giving us such a warm welcome.”
The Beavers group sent in drawings and chocolates as thanks for the NPT visit.
