A hard-hitting enforcement campaign which focuses on bringing the offenders of serious violence associated with Class A drug dealing and gangs in Wellingborough to justice, has seen another successful warrant executed.
On the morning of Friday, April 16, police officers raided the property in Mannock Road, Wellingborough, and seized a large quantity of cash and Class A drugs.
A 47-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant, Chris Stevens, said, “This warrant was executed as a result of information received from the public and our partner agencies and I’m really pleased that we made two arrests and seized these Class A drugs.
“My team are committed to responding to community concerns regarding this issue and will remain tireless when it comes to dealing with the people who profit from this criminal activity.
“My message to those who are involved in Class A drug dealing and the violence associated with it is this - don’t sleep easy because we will be paying you a visit sooner or later.”
This warrant was executed as part of Operation Revive - a multi-partnership project which looks to address the issue of rising violence, drug dealing and anti-social behaviour in Wellingborough.
Whilst the operation aims to take a holistic approach to the issues, including having a strong focus on preventative work, the enforcement aspect of the operation is also hugely important.
