Eight arrested in Thrapston as part of Operation Viper

Eight men were arrested in Thrapston this morning (Friday, March 13) when officers from numerous departments across the force, led by the serious and organised crime team, carried out simultaneous drugs warrants at eight different addresses.

The activity followed an investigation into organised crime gangs operating in the area and was aimed at disrupting the supply of cocaine and cannabis.
Of the eight arrested, five (two aged 22, one aged 21, one 18 and one 17) are from Thrapston, one, aged 32, is from Corby, a 21-year-old is from Islip and a 17-year-old is from Titchmarsh.
During searches at the Thrapston addresses, police seized a quantity of Class A and B drugs, cash and mobile phones.
