Darren King murder investigation: Provisional trial date set

A provisional trial date has been set for later this year in connection with the murder of 38-year-old Darren King in Wellingborough.
The murder trial has been listed to start at Northampton Crown court from October 26 and is expected to last two weeks.
This follows today’s (Friday, August 14) pre-trial and plea hearing at the county’s crown court, when 20-year-old Dante King entered a plea of not guilty to the murder of Mr King in Birchfield Road, Wellingborough, on May 3 this year.
Dante King will remain in custody until his trial.
