Man remanded into custody in connection with Corby cannabis factory

A 40-year-old man has been remanded in custody following the execution of a warrant under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Corby.

Pal Tuci, of no fixed address, was arrested after 140 cannabis plants were found at a house in Knights Close, on Thursday, August 31 – along with equipment associated with the production of the Class B drug.

Tuci was charged with the production of a controlled Class B drug – cannabis – and appeared before Northampton Magistrates’ Court last Friday (September 1), where he was remanded in custody until his next hearing at Northampton Crown Court on Monday, October 16.
