Man, 32, charged with Rothwell incident

A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with an incident which happened in Bridge Street, Rothwell.
Daniel Stocker, of Gold Street, Desborough, has been charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and one count of making use/attempting to make use of a firearm with intent to resist arrest.
The charges relate to an incident on Tuesday, February 7, in which two police officers were assaulted. Thankfully no serious injuries were sustained.
Stocker will appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (February 10).
Northamptonshire Police does not tolerate any form of assault on our officers or staff and offenders will be prosecuted.
