A US citizen has appeared in court today (Thursday, September 28) charged with causing the death of Northamptonshire teenager Harry Dunn by dangerous driving.
Anne Sacoolas appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court via video link from the United States accused of causing the death of the 19-year-old from Charlton, Banbury following a road traffic collision on August 27, 2019.
Harry was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle on the B4301 near RAF Croughton, when the collision with a Volvo XC90 took place. He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he died a short time later.
Sacoolas, aged 45, was granted unconditional bail following the brief hearing. The case will next be heard at the Old Bailey on Thursday, October 27.
