A 16-year-old boy has been charged in connection with an incident in Market Square, Northampton.
At about 3.30pm on Monday, September 20, a 15-year-old boy was assaulted with a knife, causing him to suffer a laceration to his arm. He was taken to hospital but is expected to make a full recovery.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, has now been charged with Section 18 – wounding with intent and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place, in connection with the incident.
He will appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (September 22).
