A man is due to stand trial after denying endangering a police helicopter by shining a laser pen at it as it searched for a missing person.
Sergejs Puzanovskis, aged 49, was charged with endangering an aircraft after the pilot of a National Police Air Service helicopter reported a laser was being pointed at it while it was flying over Northampton on the evening of Wednesday, September 15.
Puzanovskis, of Chiltern Way, Northampton, entered a not guilty plea at Northampton Magistrates’ Court last Friday, October 15, and was bailed ahead of a trial at the same court on February 8, 2022.
