Man charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following Stanwick stabbing

A man is due to appear in court charged with grievous bodily harm after a man was seriously injured in Stanwick.
Mohammed Zulfikar Hussain Miah, aged 32, of The Headlands, Northampton, will appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court today, Friday, August 13, charged with Section 18 wounding with intent, and possession of an offensive weapon.
The charges against him relate to an incident on the evening of Wednesday, August 11, in which a 37-year-old man was found with serious abdominal stab wounds in Spencer Parade, Stanwick.
He was taken to University Hospital Coventry, where he remains after undergoing surgery for his injuries.
