A 30-year-old man has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker after a police officer was spat at during an incident on Sunday, March 29.
Jamie Edward Tidy, 30, of No Fixed Abode, was charged after an incident at the Criminal Justice Centre in Brackmills, Northampton, where a man claiming to have COVID-19 spat at a Special Constable.
Today at Northampton Magistrates’ Court, Tidy was remanded into custody where he will next appear on Tuesday, June 9.
