Man, 55, jailed for nine years for rape offences

A 55-year-old man has been jailed this week for nine years for a number of rape offences.
Stewart Page, 55, formerly of Kettering, was convicted of three counts of rape against a woman in Kettering.
Her Honour Judge Rebecca Crane sentenced Page to nine years in prison. He was also given five years on extended license.
Page will be on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life.
Detective Inspector Nick Cobley, said: “I welcome the sentence handed out to Stewart Page this week and I hope this case demonstrates just how seriously Northamptonshire Police takes reports of historic sexual offences.
“The victim in this case has shown great courage throughout this very long process and I hope the conclusion provides her with some closure and allows her to finally move on with her life.”
