Fifth man charged after attempted murder in Irchester

A 20-year-old man has been charged in connection with an attempted murder at a caravan park in Irchester.
Charlie Christopher McDonagh, 20, of Bescot Croft, Birmingham, has been charged with attempted murder, three instances of GBH with Intent and with possessing an offensive weapon, in relation to an incident in the early hours of Wednesday, January 1, where four people were seriously injured in an assault.
The other men charged in connection with the incident are:
- Thomas McDonagh, 24, of Copt Oak Road, Markfield
- John Paul McDonagh, 37, of No Fixed Abode
- Bernard Joseph McDonagh, 19, of Copt Oak Road, Markfield
- Patrick McDonagh, 36, of Copt Oak Road, Markfield
John Paul, Bernard Joseph and Patrick McDonagh are next all due to appear in court on June 29, 2020. Thomas and Charlie McDonagh will appear in court on a date to be arranged.
