Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses after a single-vehicle collision on the A45 Nene Valley Way westbound, between the Riverside and Barnes Meadow junctions in Northampton.
The collision happened at about 8.10am on Wednesday, September 9, and involved a white Isuzu Grafter tipper truck towing a tri-axle trailer carrying a construction loader.
The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
The westbound carriageway was closed for approximately three hours while emergency services attended the scene and the vehicle was recovered.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have relevant dash-cam footage from the area around the time it happened.
