Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in or around Roman Road, Harpole, between 5pm on Saturday, June 6, and 7am on Monday, June 8?
Witnesses are being sought after two containers were broken into at a building site, and tools stolen included Theodolites, disc cutters, power drills, water pumps, a generator 3KVA hired from GAP, a heavy duty wacker and various hand tools.
Diesel was stolen from the other container as well as syphoned from machines on site. In total about £20,000 worth of equipment and fuel was taken.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered such items in unusual circumstances or who may have seen any suspicious activity near the site between the stated times.
