Officers investigating an attempted robbery in Kettering are appealing for witnesses and information.
At around 4.20pm on Thursday, September 19, a man was walking along the footpath beside the Church of Christ the King towards Deeble Road, when he was approached by three unknown masked males.
One of the group shouted at the man to give them his money, and when the victim challenged them, one of the males reached for his pocket, causing the victim to fear he had a weapon.
The victim was able to run onto Deeble Road, with the offenders running off shortly afterwards.
The first suspect is described as a white boy aged 15-17, around 5ft 8in and of skinny build. He wore a dark blue tracksuit and a black mask that covered his face and head.
The second suspect is described as a white boy also aged 15-17, around 5ft 6in and of skinny build. He wore a grey hooded tracksuit and carried a dark coloured man bag.
The third suspect is described as an Asian man aged around 20, 5ft 10in and of large build. He wore a grey jumper.
Anyone who saw the incident or who has information about it, including relevant CCTV or dash-cam, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
