Fatal collision in Mereway, Northampton

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision in Mereway, Northampton. 

The incident happened at about 7.25am this morning (August 25), when there was a collision between the rider of a blue Suzuki motorcycle and the driver of an ambulance. 

Sadly, the motorcyclist - a man in his 40s, died as a result of the incident. 

Detectives from Northamptonshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed it or who may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the collision.
