Officers are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and a car damaged in Corby.
At around 5.35pm last night, Monday, August 19, two men in a silver Ford Focus car approached a group of six to eight male youths who were on foot with a blue off-road motorcycle in Eastbrook.
When the driver of the car got out to speak to the group about the motorcycle’s ownership, one of the group pushed it into his legs, causing injury, before he was punched and another youth jumped on the car’s windscreen, causing it to break.
The two men from the car then ran from the area towards Skipton Close and called the police.
The suspects are all described as white youths aged 17 to 18, wearing tracksuits and balaclavas. One had ginger hair.
Anyone who saw any part of the incident, or who has information about it, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
