Affray in Newnham Road, Northampton

Did you see an altercation in Newnham Road, Northampton, last Friday (January 13)?

Between 12.30pm and 2pm, an altercation took place between two groups of males, some of whom were armed with weapons. Fortunately, no-one was injured.

Following this incident, the Northampton Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting more high-visibility patrols to offer reassurance to the residents, businesses, and the wider community. Members of the public are encouraged to speak to an officer if they have any concerns.

Officers investigating the incident are asking anyone who was travelling in the area between the stated times to check dash-cam footage to see if they’ve captured the incident. They would also like to hear from anyone who may have doorbell or CCTV camera footage who have yet to come forward.
