Serious assault in High Street, Desborough

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a man sustained serious facial injuries after being assaulted inside a pub in the High Street, Desborough.
The incident happened between midnight and 12.30am on Saturday, February 4, when the man in his 40s was assaulted by two males. As a result, he sustained a serious injury which required surgery.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries, however, detectives would still like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
