Assault at Northampton General Hospital

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a nurse was assaulted in the A&E Department at Northampton General Hospital.
The incident happened on Friday, January 27, between 7.30pm and 7.50pm, when a female patient assaulted a nurse by grabbing her lanyard before throwing water over another patient.
The patient who had the water thrown over them is encouraged to come forward as they have not yet done so.
They, or anyone who witnessed the incident, should contact Northamptonshire Police on 101.
A 22-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with this incident and released on bail pending further enquiries.
