Appeal to find dog walkers who witnessed threatening incident

Police are appealing to find two dog walkers who saw a man threatening a couple with a knife in a Wellingborough park.

At around 12.15am on Tuesday, February 16, a man and a woman were in Croyland Park when they were approached and threatened by a man with a knife.

While this was happening, a couple with a small brown dog and a small black dog on leads passed nearby, walking along a footpath by the stream heading towards Kingsway.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for these witnesses to come forward as they may be able to provide vital information.
