Police officers from Northamptonshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A43.
At about 6.35am on Saturday, July 31, a collision happened on the A43 Lumbertubs Way South, towards Riverside, when, for reasons yet unknown, a white Yamaha R6 motorcycle collided with the kerb, unseating the rider – 35-year-old Jaime Lee Crouch.
Jaime was taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries and sadly died later that day. His family have released the following statement:
“We as a family are absolutely devastated by the loss of Jaime - our much-loved father, fiancé, brother, and son.
“Jaime was a compassionate, hilarious, crazy and free-spirited person who lived life to the max. He will be greatly missed by us all, especially by his six children who he loved more than anything.
“We ask for our privacy to be respected during this difficult time, so we can grieve in peace.”
Following the collision, the driver of a large, black, American-style vehicle stopped to offer assistance and we would like this driver to make contact with us as a witness.
