In accordance with the Police Conduct Regulations we are required to publish the following information –
A gross misconduct disciplinary hearing chaired by Assistant Chief Constable Adam Ward, was held by Northamptonshire Police at Force Headquarters from May 11 - 14, 2026, in relation to PC 1673 Cai Scivyer.

It was alleged that the officer concerned breached the standards of professional behaviour relating to:
as the conduct was otherwise in accordance with force policy, was deliberately misleading and or dishonest and would undermine public confidence in the police.
The officer was present at the hearing and denied the allegations.
The Panel considered the available evidence and found Gross Misconduct.
The Panel determined that, the most suitable outcome was dismissal without notice.
