In accordance with the Police Conduct Regulations we are required to publish the following information –
A gross misconduct disciplinary hearing was held by Northamptonshire Police at Force Headquarters on Monday, July 27, 2026, in relation to Constables PC P1056 Mark Robinson and PC P0729 Bethany Wilkins.
It was alleged that the officers concerned were in a relationship during the period of time in which PC Robinson was tutoring PC Wilkins and when asked about such they lied.
It was alleged that the officers concerned breached the standards of professional behaviour relating to:
PC Robinson was alleged to have further breached the standards of professional behaviour relating to:
PC Wilkins resigned from the police service on the morning of the misconduct hearing.
Prior to the hearing, new information came to light that required the panel to pause proceedings so that the matter could be considered further. As a result, the hearing was adjourned and will resume on a future date, which has not yet been scheduled.
