In accordance with Regulation 36 of the Police Conduct Regulations we are required to publish the following information –
An Accelerated Gross Misconduct disciplinary hearing, chaired by Chief Constable Ivan Balhatchet, will be held by Northamptonshire Police at Wooton Hall on Thursday, October 15, at 10am.
The Chief Constable has determined that exceptional circumstances justify the hearing being conducted in private. Public access has therefore been restricted in order to protect identified interests which outweigh the presumption of openness ordinarily applying to police misconduct proceedings.
The hearing will determine whether the conduct alleged amounts to gross misconduct and, if proven, what outcome is appropriate.
Pursuant to Reg 53(5) and (6) of the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020, any written representations can be made by the media by emailing [email protected] before Wednesday, October 14.
