The statistics on car/motorbike hitting pedestrian on puffin, pelican and zebra crossings in Northamptonshire over the past 30 years 1995 to 2025.
Unfortunately, Northamptonshire Police are unable to provide you with the information requested. Having searched our database for pedestrian collisions, we have identified over 8745 incidents recorded since 2021. To manually scrutinise each of these records in order to establish if there was a pedestrian crossing involved would exceed the appropriate cost limit of £450.
Accordingly, please accept this Refusal Notice under s12(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act).
We always strive to provide the highest level of service that we can with the finite resources at our disposal. However, due to the large number of results returned, we cannot offer any advice or assistance to help you revise your request as outlined in s16 of The Act.
