How many cases were investigated by Northamptonshire Roads Policing where there was evidence of the driver being under the influence of drink and/or drugs in a fatal road traffic collision which couldn't be charged with more than Section 5 Road Traffic Act 1988 because of the lack of evidence of careless driving.Section 3A Road Traffic Act 1988

Unfortunately, Northamptonshire Police are unable to provide you with the information requested because it is not held in an easily retrievable format. We contacted our Serious Collision Investigation Unit in an attempt to locate the answers to your questions. Compliance with your request would require our analysts to manually review a minimum of 210 investigations to review. We estimate that the time to do this would exceed the appropriate cost limit of £450.
