1. Please provide me the number of arrests in 2023 and 2024 and so far in 2025 (broken down by month if possible) of people on suspicion of breaching their electronic monitoring (tagging) conditions.
1a. Of the above, please identify how many of these arrests were as a result of a Section 9 (Criminal Justice Act) report from the monitoring company.
2. Please also provide the total number of Section 9 notifications in relation to electronic monitoring (tagging) breaches received in 2023, 2024 and so far in 2025 (broken down by month if possible).
Unfortunately, Northamptonshire Police are unable to provide you with the information requested because it is not held in an easily retrievable format. Compliance with your request would require our analysts to manually review a minimum of 873 occurrences at approximately 2 minutes per record. which would exceed the appropriate cost limit of £450.
