Question 1
This function sits with the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) within Northamptonshire Police Protecting Vulnerable People (PVP) command.
The Partnership and Review Officer sits within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
Part of the roles and responsibilities of these posts are to raise any concerns that may require review and work closely with the business office function of the Northamptonshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (NSCP). This business office function then facilitates and administers all statutory review processes.
Representatives from Northamptonshire Police act as panel members within all Rapid Reviews, Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews and equivalent.
Action plans, tasks and recommendations coming from any such review are administered and maintained by the NSCP business office. The results are published by NSCP having been approved by the Northamptonshire Safeguarding Children Board.
Question 2
Actions, recommendations and learning from any review process are implemented in a manner commensurate with the task.
However, this may include:
Reviews, action plans and progress are presented to the force Child Protection Working Group (CPWG) chaired by the Head of PVP to ensure senior officer governance and direction. This CPWG in turn reports to the force Child Vulnerability Board which is chaired by ACC Emma James.
Question 3
This is achieved via the regular NSCP multi agency performance meetings and all the subsidiary working groups.
Question 4
As above, administered by the Northamptonshire Police MASH Partnership and Review Officer role.

Both the above documents were revised when WTSGC 2018 was superseded by WTSGC 2023.
