Northamptonshire Police has trialled low-level usage of MS Copilot.
Question 2
Northamptonshire Police are not operating any public-facing AI initiatives outside of Live Facial Recognition (LFR), which was first deployed at the British Grand Prix in 2024.

The use of LFR mentioned above was facilitated financially with mutual aid from another Force.
Question 4
We are not aware of any AI-specific budget increases planned for 2025/26.

No, we have no record of measured cost savings or improvements in citizen satisfaction resulting from the use of AI.

We are not using AI to measure public perception at this time.
