Request to Northamptonshire Police

I am submitting this request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and would appreciate your assistance in providing data in your regional area on smoking and vaping-related offences reported in public places where such activity is prohibited.

Specifically, I would like to request the number of complaints, reported incidents, warnings issued, and fines given for smoking or vaping in restricted areas over the past 3 years. If possible, please provide a breakdown by year and by type of location.

Requested Information:

1. Number of reported incidents, complaints, warnings issued, and fines related to smoking and vaping in areas where it is prohibited.

2. Breakdown by location type, including:

- Trains, train stations, and other public transport hubs (e.g., bus stations, airports).
- Hotels and guest accommodations.
- Restaurants, cafés, pubs, and bars.
- Museums, galleries, cinemas, and theatres.
- Shopping centres and retail spaces.
- Workplaces and office buildings with designated non-smoking areas.
