I am submitting a Freedom of Information request to obtain statistics on solved murders against women, where a man has been convicted.
Can these stats be categorised by the race and ethnicity of the victim and if possible the convicted person involved?
Also the ages of the victim and convicted, plus the relationship between the two.
Additionally, can the method of death be added to data?
Can the data only be for 2024.
Searches were conducted within Northamptonshire Police for all finalised homicides in 2024 where the victim was female and I can now confirm a nil response.
Please note, information on convictions i.e. results at Court, are held by His Majesty’s Court Service.
