Request to Northamptonshire Police:
I am asking for the information to be given to me specifically for the below periods.
April 01 2024 - March 31st 2025
April 01 2023 - March 31st 2024
April 01 2022 - March 31st 2023
April 01 2021 - March 31st 2022
April 2020 - March 31st 2021.
Under the FOI act, I am looking for the following information
- The total number of rapes reported to your force where the victim has been aged 18 or under
- The total number of rapes reported to your force, where the perpetrator has been aged 18 or under
- The total number of sexual assaults reported to your force where the victim has been aged 18 or under (if possible please provide information on victim gender)
- The total number of sexual assaults reported to your force where the perpetrator has been aged 18 or under (if possible please provide information on perpetrator gender)
- The total number of stalking reports reported to your force where the victim has been aged 18 or under (if possible please provide information on victim gender)
- The total number of stalking reports reported to your force where the perpetrator has been aged 18 or under (if possible please provide information on perpetrator gender)
- The total number of violent crimes reported to your force, where the victim has been female perpetrator has been male and aged 18 and under
- The total number of misogyny crimes, or hate crimes against women (or those who identify as women) where the male perpetrator is aged 18 or under
Should the sum total of this request exceed the FOI spending limit, please prioritise the questions in numerical order.
Response:
For your information for any future requests, the force is under no obligation under the Freedom Of Information Act 2000 to work up until the cost threshold is engaged. Requests defined by the section 12 cost limits are invalid under section 8(1)(c). This is because their scope is determined by the extent of the record search we may carry out within those limits, rather than the distinguishing characteristics of the information itself.
