I would like to submit a FOI request please to get the crime stats on violence against women and girls in Northampton.
It would be good to see the last 3-5 years to present if it's available? This should give a better idea of how it has increased/decreased/stayed the same
By it being broken down, I mean into the category of violence/crimes against women and girls. Is this collected? I want to know what the data/stats are for this in the area, rather than the overall national statistic
Crime Searched between 01/01/2020 to 15/05/2025 for all Occurrences where a Victim of the Crime was Female and aged 10 years or older at the time of the offence with an occurrence address of ‘Northampton’.
In addition, the report includes the offences and criteria outlined below which have been identified as being ‘in scope’ for ‘VAWG’.
