FOI 3022-25 Drink spiking

Request to Northamptonshire Police:

Please provide the relevant information for the period between 1 January 2022 until this request is processed.

Please could you provide the following:

1. For each report concerning drink spiking, please could you provide the following:

1. The date the drink spiking report was filed
2. The specific location (for example: address of the establishment)
3. The age of the person who filed the drink spiking report (if you are unable to provide the exact age, please could you provide me with age For example: 18-24, 25-49, 50-64, 65+)
4. Gender of the victim who filed the report
5. Whether the drink spiking report led to an investigation and/or a charge

Please note, ‘by age of the person who filed the drink spiking report’ we have provided the age of the victims. Reports may be made by a partner, friend, family member etc. Victim data is collated from the crime occurrence as we do not record person details from the initial call (incident).

Northamptonshire Police records ‘Incidents’ from requests from members of the public requiring police assistance. These requests for assistance may be made via 101/999 or online submissions via the Northamptonshire Police website. Not all incident reports generate a crime report, and not all crime reports come from an incident report. Therefore, figures may not compare.
