FOI 10083-25 Arrests under Communications Acts

Request to Northamptonshire Police:

Number of arrests made under section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 and Section 1 of the Malicious Communications Act 1988. I would like the data in calendar years from 2015 until 2025.

Response:

Custody searched from 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2024 for all arrests made where the CCCJS Offence code is S127 CA03006, CA03008, CA03009, CA03005 or CA03007 and S1 MT88005, MT88007, MT88008. MT88006.
