Sorry, there was a technical problem. Please try again.
This site is a beta, which means it's a work in progress and we'll be adding more to it over the next few weeks. Your feedback helps us make things better, so please let us know what you think.
1. The number of cars and vans stopped by your police force and/or the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for any driving offence in the most recent full calendar year for which data is available.
Please provide a breakdown by day of the week (i.e., Monday through Sunday). For each day, please list the total number of offences recorded, and if available, the three most common types of offences on that day.
2. A breakdown of this data by geographical location, county, or region (whichever is most readily available).
3. The number of charges, fines, or penalty notices issued as a result of these stops, ideally also broken down by day of the week and/or offence type if possible.
Searches were conducted within Northamptonshire Police to locate the information and I can now confirm that Northamptonshire Police does not hold any information relative to your request. This is because Northamptonshire Police do not currently record details of every time a vehicle is stopped, we record arrests made and FPNs issued.
